Greenfields Lincoln Ne

Ok so when I had Greenfields about 2 yrs ago it kind of reminded me of an Ihop kind of place but way on the south side of town and not really good enough to warrant me driving all the way across town. But, when I read in the paper that they changed their menu I was intrigued. I thought, maybe I should give them one more try. Needless to say I am glad that I did. I tried the Peanut Butter Burger and Fries. The Peanut Butter burger was fabulous with lots of melty peanut butter piled up with Yummy Bacon and a subtle bite from the Pepper Jack Cheese. Moving on to the French Fries. These were divine. The french fries seemed to be lightly battered and fried. So when you bit into them the inside is soft but the outside takes on this lightly crisp salty goodness. I will definitely be eating here again. I suggest if you have tried them before but did not like them give them another chance. 

I would also like to say that the decor changes were nice too. I really like the individual daisies in vases on the tables, the strings of white lights and coat hooks at the ends of each booth. It has a feeling of stepping into some quaint little restaurant along a city street even though you are in retail development on the outskirts of town.
